Brain.fm: The Superpower for Focus.
Here in this post, I explain to you what Brain.fm is and why it is a MASSIVE superpower for focus.
Most focus videos/music mixes don’t actually put you in a deep state of focus, which leads to less getting done. However, brain.fm is the one unique app developed by scientists and developers, which puts you into a extraordinarily deep state of focus in just five minutes.
The science behind brain.fm is big. There is a lot to uncover from their articles and I can’t explain all of that in this post. So, here are the articles.
The Science behind Brain.fm
But first, I would like to introduce you to brain.fm.
What is Brain.fm?
Brain.fm is a music streaming platform with over 1000+ tracks that uses science to make you focus better. It is unlike any other focus app I have seen. The brain.fm team makes many options on their app and web app.
The web app and app include a Focus, Relax, Meditate, and even Sleep mode(s).
I personally use Focus mode the most and it works great for me to produce amazing articles like this one. Now, what’s great is that brain.fm has a preferences section where you can choose your style of focus music, and even select the neural effect (how much stimulation you’d like for your brain).
Brain.fm refers to their work as a “do not disturb setting for your mind”. I 100% agree. Whenever I use their music, I get into deep states of focus that I can get into in just 5 minutes, rather than 23 minutes, and stay focused for an infinite amount of time.
If you are someone who works a lot, or has a lot of tasks to do that have to be done in a short time with near-unbreakable focus, brain.fm is the perfect app for you.
Also, the many genres of music they have are all organized into 4 groups for your convenience.
Is Brain.fm free?
Yes and no, brain.fm offers a 3 day free trial if you do not choose one of their free trial options like the 14 day trial or 7 day trial.
If you choose the 3 day free trial, you get all of brain.fm for 3 days. You can select this option by pressing the X button that you get on their “Select a free trial” screen. Otherwise, the 14 day trial costs $49.99 dollars annually, for a year of brain.fm’s music, and the 7 day trial charges $6.99 dollars monthly.
However, I did notice that the app is a little bit more expensive on these plans than the web app, so choose wisely.
What is brain.fm’s process?
Brain.fm makes their music in a specific process or cycle. This process is what makes their music so great for productivity, relaxation, and sleep.
The process in four simple parts is:
Read scientific literature
Brain.fm’s idea
Create music
Large scale experiments
Also, just for your knowledge, brain.fm uses EEG experiments, and their music also boosts blood flow to the brain.
Their music allows “populations of neurons to engage in coordinated activities”- and brain.fm’s music is purpose-built to get you into a desired mental state as fast as 5 minutes.

P.S: I listened to brain.fm’s atmospheric deep work music, which made produce this article in just half an hour. Insane.
